We are building a world-class revenue engine and are looking for a senior Inside Sales leader who can own pipeline creation end-to-end and make inside sales a core, predictable demand generation engine for Lifesight.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Inside Sales to build, scale, and lead Lifesight’s global inside sales organization. This role is accountable for pipeline ownership, revenue impact, team leadership, and operational excellence across SDRs, BDRs, and inside sales functions.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and scaled inside sales motions at best-in-class enterprise SaaS companies, understands complex B2B sales cycles, and thrives in fast-paced, builder environments.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Ownership & Revenue Impact
● Own pipeline generation targets (SQLs, pipeline value, conversion rates, win influence)
● Make inside sales a primary demand generation engine, not a support function
● Drive predictable, repeatable pipeline through outbound, inbound, and account-based motions
● Partner closely with Sales Leadership to align pipeline creation with revenue goals
Inside Sales Strategy & Execution
● Design and execute inside sales strategy across regions and segments (Enterprise / Mid-market)
● Define ICPs, buyer personas, messaging, and outbound frameworks
● Build strong playbooks for cold outreach, warm leads, ABM, and partner-sourced motions
● Continuously optimize conversion rates across the funnel (MQL → SQL → Opportunity)
Team Building & Leadership
● Hire, coach, and scale high-performing SDR / BDR teams
● Build a strong performance culture with clear accountability, metrics, and career paths
● Develop future leaders within the inside sales organization
● Act as a hands-on leader who can coach deals, messaging, and execution
Cross-functional Collaboration
● Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality, attribution, and campaign effectiveness
● Partner with Product and Customer Success to sharpen value propositions and use cases
● Align with RevOps to drive CRM hygiene, reporting, forecasting, and tooling
Process, Metrics & Systems
● Own inside sales KPIs: activity, conversion, pipeline velocity, ROI
● Implement and optimize tools (CRM, sequencing, data enrichment, analytics)
● Establish forecasting discipline and pipeline visibility for leadership
● Use data to drive decisions, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
● 10–15+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or revenue roles
● 5+ years leading inside sales / SDR / revenue development teams
● Proven experience building inside sales engines at top-tier enterprise SaaS companies
● Experience selling complex, high-value SaaS solutions to enterprise customers
● Strong understanding of outbound, inbound, ABM, and multi-touch demand generation
